The Caravan

It was awesome getting to hang with old acquaintances at The Caravan. We met up and caught up and had lots of fun hanging together. We got many opportunities to share the gospel at this event because of my recognition as a chaplain amongst this community. They called me the resident reverend. I let them know that prayer and someone to talk to about anything is what we want to be here for. It was encouraging to hear those things. Â
I held a few classes that went well too. One on bike racks, what they are what's the best kind and the advantages and disadvantages of the different types. We’ve had some tough experiences with bike racks ever since we bought the bikes and I decided to let others know what we’ve learned so they don’t have to go through all of the chaos we did with them. The second class I held was how to maintain your spirituality on the road. We had a 500% increase from the last one I held (which had zero come)! That was encouraging to see because it means we are meeting a need. It was a mixed company as well so we got to share our faith in a non hostile environment. Â
We also held chapel. It was great to worship with believers and fellowship afterward. We sang songs, played music, and encouraged each other. Connections were made and hopefully long time friendships. Â
God was great at The Caravan. We hope to see even more of God moving as we head to our next event this weekend, The Bus Fair. Â
