How God Worked!!

Adventure Van Expo was such a great time and as always God revealed himself to us.  This event was a bit different than some of the others we’ve been to.  This event has many people from outside of the community come and visit to see what it's like to live the life.  Many people come to get ideas on how to build if they plan to build or buy if they plan to buy.  They also have vendors that sell to people in the life that just want to gain some upgrades.  So because of this we came across a lot of different people.  But oddly we talked to a lot of van campers at this one as well. Which is what we wanted to do!        

The good was that we got to hang out with a lot of cool people and build connections with those in our community.  We seemed to have been real approachable at this event.  We had a lady come talk to us and when we asked her about Jesus, she wasn’t turned off but opened up to us about her spiritual life.  Sadly however, she is in a dark spiral into all types of wickedness and evil but she was still willing to talk to us about those things. Another was a man we spoke with asked us about our faith.  He was just amazed at how his friend was so passionate about Jesus and he felt comfortable enough to open up about that with us.  We were so stoked!  And finally, we decided to start putting out prayer request cards.   A few people put requests in which we are beginning to pray over each night.  We hope this will open up more opportunities for us to impact people's lives and stay connected by checking back in with them.

The bad was just sadness that no one came to chapel at this event.  There were plenty of people who apologized for missing (haha) and many who said they enjoyed our singing (we still worshiped our God though no one came) but no participants.  We have to get on the schedule which at the last couple of events we weren't able to. 

Pray for us that in the coming events God allows us to see fruit.  It's great to be back in the midst of the people we have a heart for. As always, if you are in the area let us know and we would love to show you what we do and for you to partner with us in it! God bless and until the next event!
